Terms of service
Terms of Sale
Last updated: 14 October 2026
These terms apply to every order placed on piat.co.uk. Please read them before ordering.
1. About us
This website is run by PIAT Ltd, trading as PIAT Blanks. PIAT Ltd is registered in England and Wales under company number 14632455. Our registered office is Digital Media Centre, County Way, Barnsley, S70 2JW, United Kingdom. Our VAT number is GB 520 8293 04.
You can contact us at hello@piat.co.uk.
2. Who can buy
We sell to businesses such as printers, embroiderers, brands and resellers, and to individual consumers.
Where these terms say "consumer", they mean someone buying for personal use rather than for a business. Some sections apply only to consumers or only to business customers; those sections say so.
Nothing in these terms limits a consumer's statutory rights.
3. Prices and VAT
- Prices excluding VAT. Prices on this site are shown excluding VAT. VAT at the current UK rate is added at checkout and shown on your VAT invoice.
- Volume prices. Volume prices are applied automatically at checkout. The price break is based on the total number of T-shirts in your basket, across all sizes and colours.
- Pricing mistakes. If we make an obvious pricing mistake, we'll contact you before we dispatch. You can then confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund.
4. Your order and our contract
When you place an order, we send an email confirming that we've received it. The contract between us is formed when we dispatch the goods and send you a dispatch email.
We may decline an order if:
- an item is out of stock;
- we can't verify the payment;
- we can't deliver to the address you gave.
If we decline an order, we refund you in full.
5. Payment
Payment is taken in full at checkout by card or another payment method we accept.
For bank transfer orders, we dispatch once the payment has cleared. Trade credit accounts are available only by separate written agreement.
6. The products
Our tees are blanks intended for printing, embroidery and other decoration. We describe fabric weight, fibre content and sizing as accurately as we can, but you should allow for small differences between batches:
- dye colours can vary slightly between dye lots and may look different on screen;
- garment measurements may differ by up to ±2 cm from the size chart;
- fabric weight may differ by up to ±5% from the stated GSM.
Business customers: please test print a sample before a production run. We are not responsible for print, transfer, embroidery or washing results, because these depend on your inks, equipment and process.
7. Delivery
Delivery charges, delivery areas and dispatch times are set out in our Delivery Policy.
The goods are your responsibility from the moment they are delivered to you. They become your property once we've received payment in full.
8. Returns, cancellations and faulty goods
Returns, refunds and consumer cancellation rights are covered in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
9. Bulk and factory orders
Orders of 500 or more pieces per colour are made to order at our partner factory. Each one is covered by a written quote, which sets out the price, deposit, lead time and tolerances. If that quote conflicts with these terms, the quote takes priority.
10. Our liability
All customers: we do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
Business customers:
- We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business or revenue, or any indirect or consequential loss.
- Our total liability for an order is limited to the price paid for that order.
Consumers: we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that was a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or of our negligence.
11. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as carrier strikes, severe weather, or shipping or port disruption. If such a delay happens, we'll tell you as soon as possible. You can cancel and receive a refund for any goods not yet dispatched.
12. Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, photos and logos, belongs to PIAT Ltd. You may not copy it without our permission.
If you send us artwork, for example for a sample, you confirm that you have the right to use it.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one on the website when you placed it.
14. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
